ABOUT


The Friends of the Library are a group of people who love libraries and want to ensure our hometown library is the best it can be.

We raise funds, advocate for, promote, and provide volunteer services to the MH Library – and we welcome you to join our efforts.

Some of us are members in name only. Others are more active, volunteering in the library or at Friends events and attending Friends meetings. We need members at all levels of participation!

Why support libraries? Great libraries help build stronger communities, enhance social, educational, and entertainment opportunities, promote literacy, improve academic achievement, foster a love of reading, and provide access to free resources for everyone.In the library people read, play, work, create, relax, research, learn, get the news, connect with friends, complete assignments, write novels, find jobs, and become inspired.
